Plot Sreekumar (Devan) is a medical student who works as a massage therapist at a spa. He is in love with Geetha (Anjana) whom he encounters and meets on several occasions. He and Geetha always meet each other in the same cafe, where they take short breaks and talk. But, Sreekumar just observes Geetha talking to someone when in reality she is talking to someone behind him. To his surprise, Sreekumar later learns from Geetha that she is a Bollywood actress. Geetha informs him that she is playing in a Bollywood film for which she had come to the city. Sreekumar initially is shocked but later accepts it and starts looking for a job to support her and later moves into their apartment. In the meantime, he joins a dance class where he gets the chance to dance with Geetha and become friends with her as well. Geetha and Sreekumar start spending more and more time with each other and during this time they gradually fall in love. Meanwhile, he learns from his father about a Bollywood actor named Balachandran. Sreekumar, along with Geetha, secretly visit his home to learn about the life and work of an actor. Geetha wishes to become an actor but Sreekumar assures her that it is a selfish profession. He then gives her a better option of becoming a doctor. Geetha refuses his suggestion and tells him that she will study medicine. However, Sreekumar catches Geetha in a compromising position while she is having sex with Balachandran. At his home, Geetha tells him about her audition for a role in a Bollywood film and her acting classes. After a heated argument between them, Sreekumar storms out of the home and then tells Geetha that he is not in love with her and is only in love with the profession. He then leaves the place and does not talk to Geetha for a couple of months.
